Md. Yaqub is a visionary leader and seasoned entrepreneur, currently serving as the Chairman of The Nirman Group for the past 10 years. With over 22 years of hands-on experience in the land and real estate sector, he has become a respected figure in the industry, known for his integrity, foresight, and dedication to sustainable growth.
His journey in the land business began in 2004, driven by a clear vision and deep understanding of the real estate landscape in Bangladesh. Over the years, he has built a solid reputation through commitment, strategic planning, and a people-centric approach to development. His work reflects a blend of practical knowledge and entrepreneurial spirit that sets him apart in the field.
Under his direct supervision and leadership, four successful housing projects have been completed, each one thoughtfully designed to meet the evolving needs of modern living. These projects stand as a testament to his commitment to quality, customer satisfaction, and long-term community value.

Engr. Asraful Alam
Managing Director, The Nirman Group
Engr. Asraful Alam is the visionary leader of The Nirman Group, bringing a wealth of expertise in structural engineering and decades of experience in the construction and real estate industry. As Managing Director, he drives the company’s strategic direction, oversees landmark projects,
and ensures the highest standards of quality, safety, and sustainability across all developments. He earned his Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering from the prestigious Chittagong University of Engineering & Technology (CUET), where he developed a strong technical foundation and a passion for innovative infrastructure solutions. Throughout his career, he has successfully managed and delivered numerous large-scale industrial, commercial, and residential projects across Bangladesh, gaining recognition for his precision in structural design and excellence in project execution.
A Fellow of the Institution of Engineers, Bangladesh (IEB) and an enlisted structural
engineer of RAJUK, Engr. Alam combines academic rigor with hands-on experience. His leadership is defined by professionalism, innovation, and a commitment to building sustainable spaces that add long-term value to communities. Md. Shahidul Islam
Project Director, The Nirman Group
Md. Shahidul Islam is a highly committed and experienced professional, currently serving as the Project Director at The Nirman Group. With a strong academic foundation and a balanced blend of expertise in both education and project management, he has proven himself as a dependable and result-oriented leader.
He holds a BSc (Honours) and MSc in Mathematics, which have equipped him with analytical thinking and problem-solving skills—qualities that have played a crucial role in his professional journey. His academic background has also shaped his discipline, precision, and ability to manage complex projects efficiently.
Alongside his role at The Nirman Group, Md. Shahidul Islam continues to contribute to the education sector. He is currently serving as a Lecturer at Mohammadpur Preparatory School and College, where he is known for his dedication to student development and academic excellence. Prior to this, he was a Former Lecturer at Firoza Basher Ideal College, where he served for seven years with distinction.
Md. Shahidul Islam has been associated with The Nirman Group since its inception, and over the years, he has played an integral role in the planning, execution, and successful delivery of various real estate and development projects. As Project Director, he is responsible for overseeing project timelines, coordinating with different teams, managing budgets, and ensuring that every project upholds the highest standards of quality and efficiency.
His long-standing dedication, leadership qualities, and strategic mindset have earned him the trust of both his colleagues and the organization’s leadership.
